This is basically a masterpost for all my Halloween tutorials I have filmed this year. So there are photos and links to the tutorials (:

Tutorial: Pretty Blue

Couldn't resist the urge to do a (subtle) pun in the title!
Naming make up looks is so hard, I'm just going to start appealing to others for help, I think!

Tutorial: Neutral Eyes & Purple Ombré Lips

I wanted a reason to use my Illamasqua Precision Ink in Glister, which is a really unusual glittery nude coloured liquid eyeliner, and I'd been struggling to think of a way to make the most of it. So I managed to put this look together, by using it as an eyeshadow base.

Cocktail Inspired: Blue Lagoon

About a year ago I decided to do a few cocktail inspired make up tutorials, and I loved doing them, but when I look back on them I just think I can do better now. So I did!

You can find the original post for this particular cocktail here (which has a ridiculous amount of views for some reason), so you can read all about my inspiration behind it.

Cocktail Inspired: Mojito

About a year ago I decided to do a few cocktail inspired make up tutorials, and I loved doing them, but when I look back on them I just think I can do better now. So I did!

This is a competition entry for the competition The You Generation are running. My main motivation for entering is that Pixiwoo are judging, and the opportunity to have them watch a tutorial I have done is too amazing to pass up!

Tutorial: Ash Costello (New Years Day)

Sites like Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube are where I go when I'm lacking inspiration, and over time I've found very talented make up artists, as well as just really interesting and creative people.

Review: Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Phenomena & Electrum

Phenomena, Electrum
I'm a big fan of Illamasqua both for their products, and for the positive message they spread about self-expression and accepting all kinds of beauty. So I decided to review a couple of my favourite products by them because although I hear mentions of Illamasqua and their products I never really see these ones in particular mentioned by beauty bloggers or YouTubers anymore.

Palettes Revisited: MAC Manish Arora

I ran out of Urban Decay palettes to do tutorials on so I decided to use a MAC one I have had for about 5 years. This sold out very quickly when released so I think a lot of people must own it, therefore a tutorial has use. Also, all of the colours except Going Bananas and Playful are in MAC's permanent line, so most are easily accessible if anyone wants to replicate this look.

Cocktail Inspired: Raspberry/Strawberry Daiquiri

About a year ago I decided to do a few cocktail inspired make up tutorials, and I loved doing them, but when I look back on them I just think I can do better now. So I did!

Rockabilly / Alt Inspired Look (Full Face Tutorial)

After a request from my friend Kirstie to do a Rockabilly style make up tutorial I have been spending a lot of time Googling 'rockabilly' 'rockabilly makeup' 'rockabilly style', and so on to find the quintessential Rockabilly make up look.

Video: Bright Yellow, Orange & Red with Glitter

I NEVER know what to call these eyeshadow looks so I always resort to naming them based on the colours. If anyone ever has any better name suggestions then go ahead!

Video: Tropical Green Gradient Eyeshadow with Blue Liner

I used to wear green eyeshadow more than any other colour, and I recently re-discovered some of my old favourites so I decided to do a tutorial. I also wanted to make better use of some make up I feel like I've 'abandoned' a bit once new products came along, or I just lost a bit of creativity.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - Colourful

When I was planning my tutorials using this palette my mind drew a complete blank on how to put the colours together in a way that didn't look like a mess. I'm big on colourful eyeshadow looks of course! But I just could not think of a good way to place the colours, especially without it looking too much like my other palette tutorials. Eventually I figured it out, and so that's why there was such a big gap between this tutorial and the last from this palette.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay Deluxe Palette

looking a little 'well loved'
This is probably one of my favourite palettes (I have a lot of favourites...and a lot of palettes), and I've owned it for a very long time now, since I'm pretty sure it was the first eyeshadow palette I ever bought. It has a really good selection of colours, and the eyeshadows are all wonderful quality. They are all 'deluxe' colours, which could be bought as individual 'deluxe eyeshadows'. The only downside to them would be that they are a little fragile! They're soft, well pigmented and blend amazingly, but as soon as you use something like a blending brush it really stabs through the shadow and you get a bit of mess over your palette. I'm thinking it also means the eyeshadows don't last as well as other shadows do because you can quite easily hit pan if you use any of these at all regularly.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette - Darks

I have had this look planned for a while now, and I've finally gotten around to recording it! Just a dark eyeshadow look using the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette, that I actually ended up liking a lot more than I thought I would. Omen is a really gorgeous colour, especially on the inner third of the eyes, and I need to use it more.

Video: Spring Purples

My original intention was to re-record a tutorial I did about a year ago, if not longer, because...let's face older tutorials are just not so good. So I thought I could do a much better version using better products, improved ability and MY VOICE.

Video: Crescent Moon Cut Crease With Blue Glitter

I've been feeling like I'm in a bit of a creative rut recently, which has made it very difficult to think of tutorials to record. I see so many amazing, creative, talented make up artists daily on YouTube and Instagram, and they make me want to step up my game so much. I feel like the more creative looks aren't necessarily what I'm good at, so I tend to avoid doing them in order to avoid failing at them! I love using colour, and I feel like I can do bright looks, dark looks and neutral looks, but anything with unusual shapes or intricate detail terrifies me.

Video: Classic Pin Up Look

This is one of those looks that everyone seems to want to know how to do, so I thought I'd record a tutorial showing how I personally do it. It's such a universally flattering style of make up, and one of those that you can wear and really feel like you look good (;

Video: Orange & Blue Cut Crease

I have to say, I did not expect this to go well. I like blue and orange together (probably because I just love bright colours), and had seen a photo of a blue and orange make up look that looked great, and I wanted to have a go. Naturally, being terrible at recreating looks, I had to do it a bit differently to suit how I tend to do make up.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette - Colour

As promised, I've created a second look using the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette. I'm really trying to use as many of the colours as I can because I want to get more use out of it (:

Classic Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

I decided to film a tutorial for this because it is one of those standard go-to night out looks that people like to do, but perhaps don't know what the best products or techniques are to get it to look how they want it to.

Hogwarts Houses: Ravenclaw

Ravenclaw is characterised by the colours blue and bronze, and by an eagle. I always thought their animal should be a raven, but there you go.

Doll Face Tutorial

I have to say this is probably my favourite make up looks I have EVER done. And it involves two 'firsts'. My first ever full face tutorial, and my first ever voiceover! The voiceover is only for the face makeup to speed things up, and because I really don't consider myself experienced enough to do a detailed tutorial on that sort of thing.

Hogwarts Houses: Hufflepuff

Hufflepuff's house colours are yellow and black, and their animal is a badger. They are known for being kind, loyal and hardworking, which although these are positive traits Hufflepuffs are seen as a bit lame, and so people don't often want to be sorted into that house.

Hogwarts Houses: Slytherin

I was reading Harry Potter (surprise surprise) for what must be the hundredth time, and suddenly thought 'why have I not done Hogwarts Houses themed makeup tutorials?'. What followed was some brain storming and many notes made on the notepad on my phone.

Valentine's Make Up Tutorial

Hello everyone!

So Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and though I do not celebrate it myself, I know a lot of people do. I also never wear pink eyeshadow, so I figured this would be a chance to.

I had no idea what to call this one. It's essentially another rainbow-ish look, but without the reds and oranges.

I've been feeling like wearing bright colours for a while, especially since receiving my Sugarpill Burning Heart palette, so I decided to do a rainbow tutorial.

Sugarpill Burning Heart Palette

If you read my wishlist I wrote a week or two ago you'll know I have wanted to own a Sugarpill palette for SO long.
